Mother nature is giving us one last warm weekend day before the fall weather kicks in.
Current River temperature 71°.
With a heat index going to be close to 100° Saturday I can’t think of any place better to have the kids then out on the river for a last hoorah.
Rain in the forecast on Sunday and cool weather to follow.
There will be an event at Nicholas conservatory tonight with beautiful colors and floating lanterns in the lagoon.
If you are going to be parking on the dock down there tonight please be courteous and park as far upstream as possible to allow three boats on the front and two boats in the back.
With the lack of rain our river is pretty much in drought condition and the current is almost non-existent.
Plenty of beach areas are now exposed up and Down the River for boats to park at and enjoy a beautiful day on the water.
Let’s all be safe on the water tomorrow as we say goodbye to the summer of 2024.
