Weekend River update:
Current River temperature 59°
Current river level 6 in above drought.
Sunday is the head of the rock regatta starting at 9:00 a.m. .
Participants will be paddling up the West Bank from the YMCA to Martin Park.
They then race against the clock starting at Martin Park and finishing at the YMCA rowing club.
If you are going to be on the water please stay on the West Bank and use extreme caution when approaching the rowers.
The river will be no wake from Martin Park to the dam.
With the forecast for 40 mph winds we probably don’t have to worry about many boats being out on the water.
My hat goes off to the many River residents who are pulling their boats out while it’s still warm.

The park district docks at burpee and at Nicholas have been removed for the season.

The eight slip Marina is currently still in at water Street downtown.
Weather’s going to be beautiful tonight to load up the boat and go downtown to a nice restaurant for dinner before winter sets in.
It’s crazy how the Northern lights look like fog or cloud to the naked eye but to the camera the colors jump out.
