Weekend River update:
Current River temperature is 65°
Last week’s rain brought the river up to one foot below drought level.
Not much traffic out yesterday.
If you still have your boat in the water you should make a point to try and put some stabilizer in the fuel and take it out for one last ride before mother nature reminds us how quick the temperatures can change.
We’re working with ComEd to try and get the spillway cleared up this fall.
I was able to make some waves and blast 25% of the debris over the dam.
They’re hoping to get the disabled tripwire out of the river this week and hopefully I can get closer and try and get some more debris off of the spillway.
Tad’s bar and prairie Street would love to have you stop by and patronize them before the boating season ends.
